[mythtv-users] Fast forward/rewind on aspect ratio change

Hi,

I've noticed this for a while but have only just thought to ask about it on 
the list: I have a few recordings of old programmes which are 4:3 aspect 
ratio, but the adverts are 16:9.  Usually I'd just spin through the adverts 
with the fast forward button, but when it goes over a change in aspect ratio 
(in either direction), the fast-forward rate speeds up massively, so by the 
time I hit "Play", it's a few minutes into the next bit of the programme.  If 
I rewind past the start of that bit (and so back into the 16:9 adverts), the 
rewind rate goes sky high as well, and I miss it again.  I can get there with 
the jump/skip forward/backward keys, but does anyone know why fast forward and 
rewind go crazy when the aspect ratio changes?
