I am still having problems.  After posting the last time I had a
problem the same night after days of thinking it was back working.

I do not think it is the Auto fields as it can work fine most of the
time then suddenly it does not appear to work.

I have problems with multiplexes where no Auto fields are specified.

I have updated my Auto fields to see if it makes any difference but I
think something else has changed.

I did have a really reliable system but I am forever checking if
recordings have happened now.

I do not understand why Myth does not fail the recording if it can't
tune saying it has recorded something it hasn't is a problem I think.
I may see if changing the values in the dtv_multiplex table to wrong
values will reproduce this problem at least it would allow a useful
trac report.
