I am a bit late in posting my Kill-A-Watt numbers, but I restarted my
MBE yesterday morning and put the meter on it. I saw a high of 184
watt right after I pushed the power button. Once it booted completely
the load settled down to 138-143 watt. After 24 hours of running it
had consumed 3.45 kwh of electricity. If the load over the last month
stays consistent then it will consume a little over 100kwh during a
month.

Machine specs:
Asus AMD 785G based motherboard
12 GB of DDR3 RAM
GeForce 9500GT
Hauppauge HVR-2250 PCI-E (dual tuner card w/ HW MPEG2)
Pinnacle P800i ATSC/ClearQAM PCI (single tuner w/ frame grabber)
4 port PCI Sata Card (silicon Image 3124 based)
SATA DVD-ROM
1x 250 GB Seagate 7200 RPM
2x 500 GB Seagate 7200 RPM
2x 1TB WD Green 5400 RPM

This machine is very heavily used. It records more than 40 hours of TV a day.

Cheers,
James
