[mythtv-users] proposed hardware setup for new build

Hi all,

I'm currently using a 1st gen Apple TV as an xbmc front-end and it works
well for my needs (great 'WAF') but i'd love to add pvr functions, so as i
have a server running (2x xeon 3400's, 4gb ram, 1.5tb storage (at the
moment)) and my intentions (idea?!) was to use the mythbox plugin for xbmc,
and one of the new blackgold dvb-t dual dual HD tuners in my little server.

Should i need to put a crystal HD card in the ATV then that would be OK too
(although i'm all about not spending if i don't need to).

Does that sound a feasable setup? I understand i'll need more storage, but
take that as a given.

I am a little loathed to use a pc in the lounge because as yet, i can't find
a nice way to control it (without buying a harmony at £200 (i should have
bought the 885's I saw at £90!) and i would prefer to keep xbmc as i like
the interface/and so does my other half. - unless someone has a link to some
nice myth gui's?

any thoughts and comments would be greatly appreciated.
