To expand a little bit more. What has been done is that the root  
signing key for the PS3 hardware has been discovered and leaked all  
over the internet. Why does this matter to mythtv? Because now any  
homebrew applications (such as perhaps mythfrontend?) can be signed  
and installed on *any* PS3 right there in the GameOS. No hardware  
drivers to worry about. There's people working on their own 3D shooter  
type games already. I would love to see a PS3 native MythFrontend app.
