you would need to post the log with running mythfrontend using -v
audio to see what's going on.

reenc means that some processing had to be applied, so audio was
decoded then re-encoded, at this stage audio can only be re-encoded to
AC3 as no DTS encoder currently exists.

Why audio processing had to be applied, I can not say without more
details in the logs..
