Hi Greg

Here is lsusb:

Bus 005 Device 002: ID 045e:00f9 Microsoft Corp. Wireless Desktop Receiver
3.1
Bus 005 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 002 Device 002: ID 0547:2235 Anchor Chips, Inc. AN2235 EZUSB-FX
Microcontroller
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 0bda:8172 Realtek Semiconductor Corp. RTL8191S WLAN
Adapter
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub

The AN2235 line is the USB tuner box.

The dmesg contained some lines like this:

[11000.264016] tda1004x: setting up plls for 48MHz sampling clock
[11000.548016] tda1004x: found firmware revision 20 -- ok

But I know that they are for a different tuner in my system - the ASUS
MyCinema P7131.

What does this indicate?

Paul
