With your technical insight you're probably after more technical help, 
and hopefully someone will be able to give it. I just wanted to share 
that I had the exact same symptoms a while(! - not immediately) after 
upgrading to 0.24-fixes and the issue got resolved by completely wiping 
the video sources and set them up again. Perhaps its just a database issue.
