Wow, quite a lot of development while I've been away over the weekend. I'm back now and watching a BBC1HD recording with top running - it's burning through a couple of Mb a minute - really quite obvious. Would it be any use me submitting a valgrind log too or is the one from Simon enough? (I'm not that familiar with valgrind). tom
