[mythtv-users] Problems with playing ISO files on frontend

I have a combined backend / frontend which plays ISO files fine.

On 2 different frontend machines ISO files will not play I eitehr get failed to 
initialize A/V sync or very bad audio and picture.

Interestingly on the Frontend machines it is not only a Mythvideo issue as I get 
the same result playing the ISO movie using VLC and MPLayer.

Could it be an encryption problem? but why the ISOs play fine on the combined 
frontend backend?

I would appreciate any help.
