[mythtv-users] channelsurfing and direct input of channels doesn't match in 0.24

I have found a problem in my 0.24, I don't know if it is a work by design,
or a bug, but here goes :

If I use up/down to "surf" to a specific channel, let's say 16. Then after
that I choose to type in channel 50 (using number keys on the remote).

If I then start to surf again using the up/down method, then it continues
from channel 16, and not channel 50.

in mythtv 0.23 it continued from ch 50.

Is there a setup that is needed to get this behaviour back, or should I wait
for a bugfix?
