I understand that it's the frontend that is crashing so you sent us part of
the frontend log, but it's the backend that does the channel changing, so
send that log too.

I assume you are up to date so 0.24... Please provide hardware details.

You will need to explain specifically what is happening and give IR
hardware/driver detail for the first part. Alot has changed recently in
LIRC-land. For the other thing, "O" in LiveTV toggles LiveTV Browse Mode.
Also see "Always use browse mode in LiveTV" in TV Settings>Playback OSD.
