Bare in mind that the hauppauge nova t 500 series pci cards actually use a
PCI to USB chip so in fact the tuners on them are also usb tuners and i have
one of them dunning no issues on ubuntu. I had to install the restricted
hardware firmware package for it to fire into life. I dont know what the
ewuivalent is on centos/rh/centos
