I've got two identical 330-based Foxconn boxes with single RAM slots, 
and they work fine playing 1080i and 720p content, even encoded using 
MP4. Menus can be a little laggy at times, but it's bearable. (And that 
may just be because I'm using an SDHC card for the OS and home 
directories; using an NFS connection might be faster, but I haven't had 
the time to try it.)

If you use one of the heavier themes, I would probably recommend at 
least 2 Gb of RAM, though.
