No but I see the number increasing on other drives and this usually
coincides with drive events either in my system logs or the drive
itself.

197 Current_Pending_Sector 0x0012 100 100 000 Old_age
Always - 0
198 Offline_Uncorrectable 0x0010 100 100 000 Old_age
Offline - 0
also are most certainly correct. They behave the same as all other
drive manufacturers on this. I have several dozen of these at work and
I can usually with these 5 SMART values predict failure.

I am just the opposite on this. I trust observation a lot more than I
trust documentation. I have seen far too many technical documents with
incorrect documentation.
