Thanks, Taylor.  I appreciate the tip.

I gave RipBot264 a whirl, but I must have done something wrong.  It
spent about 12 CPU hours working on the transcode, then spat out a 6KB
.mkv file.  (Obviously that wasn't right.)  I'll give it another shot
when I have more time.
