  Install locate, and update it's database, this will help with where oS
tends to put stuff.
mike at P-733-Lin:~$ locate mc.sql
/mnt/oS11.1/usr/share/doc/packages/mythtv-doc/database/mc.sql
/mnt/oS11.3/usr/share/doc/packages/mythtv-0_23-docs/database/mc.sql
/mnt/oldhomes/Fran/DownLoads/mythtv-0.21/database/mc.sql
/usr/share/mythtv/sql/mc.sql

  Note the oS11.1 put one place and the oS11.3 another, but following
those paths /usr/share/doc/.... will help you find that file.
