Good questions.
There is no regular TV here, any more.
The tube on the old SD TV died.
That is why the current Myth + HDHomeRun = is a great replacement for basic TV.

The Myth box is connected to 24 inch flat screen LCD with an HDMI cable.
The LCD has HDMI, DVI and VGA inputs.
