Do not manually type te device name; there's no need for that.

Press the scan audio device button and select in the list the audio device
you want.
It the device you want isn't there, it's because it's not available or not
working.

By the way; install more recent alsa drivers and libraries; this will
reduce the number of hdmi device greatly.

See above... If its not in the list; it's not usable

Don't enable the mixer with digital audio; it serves no purpose or use the
"software" one
