Interesting john, I think I've noticed a bug here.
When using your method to adjust the start early option it said start
recording 10 minutes later.
Which I changed now, in mythweb it now dropped the minus sign from the
start early time.

Did somebody somewhere change or add a minus ?
Cause this used to work well in the past (the -10 for start early.)
This could also explain all the difficulties I have for recording a show on
time.

It also allowed me to extend the start early time beyond 10 minutes, great
help :)
