[mythtv-users] HowTo prevent scrolling on LCD?

HI!

I am currently using a 16x2 LCD. In this case, MythTV switches slowly
(pages) through parts of long text that does not fit on the display.

Now I have a new 20x4 LCD. With this one, MythTV scrolls long text from
right to left. Because this LCD is pretty slow, the scrolling looks bad,
it flickers.

I have tried finding a setting for LCDd of lcdproc, but "TitleSpeed"
does not affect the scrolling speed and does not switch off scrolling,
as it should. So I guess, it's a MythTV thing.

Is there any way to switch from scrolling to paging (like on the smaller
LCD) or at least to slow down the scrolling?

Using MythTV 0.23.1 on Gentoo.
