I'm sure I understand what he's getting at.  Some tuner cards can record 
multiple channels even from only one tuner.  I can't think of any cards 
that do this off the top of my head but I'm 99% (from all the docs I've 
read) that the HVR-1600 can't.  It does have an Analog and Digital tuner 
in it.  Those can be used at the same time but you can't do two digital 
or two analog at the same time.  So with that I should set the digital 
to only 1.

Now if I'm wrong about this card let me know.  I'm only going by what 
I've read and understand from the wiki pages (both mythtv and linuxtv 
wiki's).
