I am having the same problem with my system.

hdhomerun with most recent firmware.
mythtv-backend-0.24-270.fc13.i686
# uname -r
2.6.34.8-68.fc13.i686

4 disk RAID5 in XFS (3TB)

3GB memory

My family is getting very grumpy. Any ideas?
