[mythtv-users] Partitioning advice request

Semi off topic is there any point putting LVM if your just running several
disks as Storage group members?

I found when my last drive failed I was able to recover one of the files off
it due to the recovery tools not supporting LVM all the other files I was
able to copy off but 1 file kept causing I/O Errors.
