Is this something that could potentially be done via parental
controls?  Each tier of the parental control could be purchased and
the password given?  Sure, kind of a kludgy solution and people could
end up sharing codes but it could be viable short term...

Or....   what about each room (frontend) having read permissions to
the correct video directories at the time of purchase?  They would see
the fan art, etc of each item but if they tried to select it with no
read permissions they could not view it.
