I have Mythbuntu 10.04 and I just upgrade to the latest set of
packages from the auto-builds. There were some OS updates as well,
among them a new kernel (2.6.32-24). After the updates were done, I
notice that my LIRC doesn't work anymore. I see the following in my
/var/log/messages:

Sep 21 19:16:32 hdevine-desktop kernel: [ 23.189991] lirc_dev: IR
Remote Contr
ol driver registered, major 61
Sep 21 19:16:32 hdevine-desktop kernel: [ 23.260171] lirc_serial: use
'setseri
al /dev/ttySX uart none'
Sep 21 19:16:32 hdevine-desktop kernel: [ 23.260173] lirc_serial: or
compile t
he serial port driver as module and
Sep 21 19:16:32 hdevine-desktop kernel: [ 23.260174] lirc_serial: make
sure th
is module is loaded first

dmesg shows:

[ 1496.753204] lirc_serial: port 03f8 already in use
[ 1496.753215] lirc_serial: use 'setserial /dev/ttySX uart none'
[ 1496.753219] lirc_serial: or compile the serial port driver as module and
[ 1496.753223] lirc_serial: make sure this module is loaded first

I don't think that any lirc packages got updated, so the hardware.conf
and lircd.conf under /etc/lirc are the same as they've always been. Any
ideas on what I can do to fix this?

Thanks,
Harry
