[mythtv-users] IR Blaster recommendation that will work on ubuntu 10.10

  1. I am using the serial version with serial to usb connection.

2. I am talking about a whole distribution upgrade. this means upgrade 
to mythtv 0.23.1 and all the other upgrades
     that comes with ubuntu 10.10

I am not a perl expert, but when I tried to debug it. The freezing occur 
around line 30, when performing the following command.

my $serial=init_serial("/dev/ttyUSB0","19200");

This is done during the initialization of the port.  It may be as simple 
as change of parameter to a library call or a real failure of perl.
