No problem, I've been spending so much time on myth that I've ended up being up later at night doing my work :).

Mine look different. What's really strange is how I've followed exactly what has been suggested in this thread, waiting on making any moves to make sure it's what you guys want, yet, the outcome always seems to be unexpected. What's it mean?

Ah, the famous readme file :). Anyone know if this is out there as a full PDF I can save?

Ok, I've read this file and found various examples of using it's settings, which I've tried. But at this point, I'm not sure which versions of what I was at when I gave it a try. As of last night however, I've tried a xorg.conf that doesn't work so far so am missing something, or overlooking something. I'll post my xorg.conf at the end of this.

I just mean that instead of outputting directly into a TV, I'm outputting into a standard modulator so I can see what's going on from anywhere in the house. It's not anything that's affecting myth.

At this point, it's probably my fault for not understanding the xorg.conf setup.

All I want is like others have said, the usual VGA monitor output to see the system stuff and TV output to see a myth frontend or user GUI, such as the PVR user would see.

So again, I want to confirm... I AM using a monitor, AND a TV. The card has three ports on it, a VGA, an HDMI and an s-video port.
I have the monitor connected into the VGA port, the TV into the s-video port using a composite breakout cable.

Unless you are saying that this card only handles ONE output at a time? In which case, I need to put another video card in there.
