I'm thinking that the problem may be to do with Apache2. Is seems to be 
running, but none of the 'tests' 
(http://yourserveripaddress/testphp.php, http://localhost/testphp.php, 
http://yourserverip/apache2-default/) are giving me the feedback I'd 
hope for.

I'm really at the limit of my knowledge now. Does this help to debug 
anything?
