[mythtv-users] Hauppauge HD-PVR MythTV setup

Hi All
I'm trying to set up a Hauppauge HD-PVR box on my Gentoo box for mythTV
recording.
I've verified that I can view live TV using vlc, but when I try to do
the same operation via the myth frontend, it displays 'Please Wait' then
returns to the frontend menu screen. This response did not change after
a system reboot (in case vlc was causing the problem).
The obvious error that I can see is 'failed to find channel', but that
might not be the error that is actually causing the problem.
I've attached the mythfrontend trace information.
Any suggestions for how to solve this gratefully received.
