Now I´ve found an article describing how to do it at [1]. It´s weird
that I didn´t find it earlier ...

The most recent firmware seems to be 2.126.28225 which can be
downloaded from [2]. Or is there a more recent version somewhere?


Following the instructions in [1], I was able to extract the firwmare
with:

# dd if=hcw88bda.sys of=firmware-212628225.fw bs=1 skip=105768 count=32290

For verification:

# md5sum -b hcw88bda.sys
3f685a2ca6d1dae35b10c06f3a538d82 *hcw88bda.sys
