I'm the one that submitted that config to the lirc people. I originally 
wrote it for the Motorola DTA100 but then got confirmation here that it 
also works for the Pace DC50X. I asked them to put it under Pace as well 
as Motorola but forgot to ask them to rename the file.

If you've found another device this works with, you could probably just 
rename the file and the remote name, add a comment and then resubmit it 
to the lirc list.
