[mythtv-users] No sound only in mythtv after install of Ubuntu 10.10

Hmm. I wonder: I just had a similar experience when I upgraded from 9.10 to
10.04.
Sound disappeared in mythtv (and xbmc) but was still working fine in
speaker-test etc.
Turned out that the 10.04 pulseaudio is problematic.
I didn't really need pulseaudio, so ...
$sudo apt-get remove pulseaudio
... and all was well ...
