You really shouldn't need to build from source, this will most likely
cause you more headaches.  For an iPhone it should be as simple as
enabling medibuntu and changing out libmp3lame for libfaac.  Adding
-ac 2 should work just fine for 5.1 source as well.

You can try the ffmpeg line that is in the latest version of mythexport:
