Yes, it make sense.
You might consider using x11vnc <http://www.karlrunge.com/x11vnc/>. This
VNC client attaches the the current X11 session rather than creating a
new X11 session. I use x11vnc in MiniMyth so that I can use VNC to
control the X11 session in which mythfrontend is running.
