Hi,
I am not sure what is happening here. A few days ago my backend
started acting up. It works perfectly until out of the blue it spits
out the message
DVBSH(/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0): Failed to open DVR device
/dev/dvb/adapter0/dvr0 : Device or resource busy
and fails to record. After that all recordings fail the same way. A
simple restart of the backend fixes the issue, but its very annoying.
I have not done any changes to the hardware and am using Ubuntu 10.04
trunk from mythbuntu builds.
mythbackend --version
Please attach all output as a file in bug reports.

my DVB-S card is a Techsan Electronics Co Ltd B2C2 FlexCopII DVB chip
/ Technisat SkyStar2 DVB card (rev 02)
Could this be a hard drive problem (I have several in storage groups)?
dmesg gives no interesting output.
other, maybe related error message in the logs is:

2010-10-06 15:29:07.879 AutoExpire: ERROR: Filesystem Info cache is
empty, unable to calculate necessary parameters.
These "frequency settings" errors did not appear in logs a few weeks
back, as well as the "autoexpire" error.
Attached the an excerpt of my mythbackend.log of last night when the
first error appeared.
Thanks for the help,
Elkin
