The UI and the video playback out are the same thing.  You just use
whatever output of your system you want into the TV... DVI, HDMI, VGA,
S-video, whatever.  Myth is an X application.  You run myth and use
the Television as if it were a monitor.  There's no mystery or magic
to it.
