I have to add that I played the DVB channel using tv-headend and totem. 
except audio lag and weird colors (which I have on all channels) no 
stuttering.
Also using XBMC on a windows machine, playing live TV from the Myth 
backend, only audio lagging.

So it seems that the audio lag is being overcompensated, and then 
undercompensated.... and so on
Or is this a wrong assumption?
