[mythtv-users] Configuring Hauppauge 1600 for capture

In the process of setting up the card for ATSC, one creates an analog and digital portion of the card.
Once done, one uses the digital side of the card to scan for channels, set up guide etc.

Am I correct in thinking that the analog portion is the analog input/capture portion of the card?
And if so, how to go about setting it up so that this has it's own guide data, has IR blasting to change the channels on the receiver etc. This is what I'm trying to learn about.
