[mythtv-users] "Too many recordings of this programme have already been recorded". How to prevent?

Yes, but perhaps I misunderstood what that meant ..

This DTT tuner is on a Hauppauge HVR 4000 card which has a DVB-T and DVB-S2
tuners, both of which cannot be used at the same time.

I had understood that if I told it to do active EIT scan on the DVB-T tuner,
that the card would essentially be permanently assigned to DVB-T ( the DVB-T
tuner would either be in use for live/recording, or else it would be
collecting EIT) and therefore never available to DVB-S2 at all ...

So in setup I have "open on demand" turned on and "active EIT" turned off
too.

Am I wrong about that? Will active EIT scanning not lock out the DVB-S2
frontend on that same card?
