Hi,

Officially hauppauge nova-s2-hd card can only capture content direct from
the satellite dish lnb, not via a set top box. As such support for this
method on this list is limited to freesat channels in the uk and not sky,
which is what the poster was asking for.

There are probably ways of doing it with this card but whereas many other
satellite providers accept and supply CAMs in order to enable generic settop
boxes to be used with their satellite service, sky will only permit their
own settop boxes to be used and they do whatever they can to prevent
decryption of their channels on non-sanctioned hardware, even free channels.

The only capture method you will get support for with sky on this list is a
hdhomerun due to the developers location and the legislation they have to
abide by (DMCA)
