Template-based setups???

For the initial setup use case, I'd like to see some sort of template-
based setup. You would have a form of some sort, which you would fill out 
with the values you want, then send it to the system as a "gestalt" all 
at once.

You could even have multiple setups, each stored as a complete set of 
parameters, so you could completely change your setup very quickly.

Being able to peruse and fill out the setup table at your leisure, store 
it and send it to the system easily, would make things much easier, at 
least for me.

Perhaps the system could even store multiple setups, and you could 
switch setups quickly and easily. Setups could even be exchanged between 
similarly-equipped systems.

"Load System A", or "Load System B" would then replace half an hour of 
going through all the setup parameters, and eliminate the inevitable 
errors, typos and other problems inherent with setting each individual 
parameter each time.

Just a thought.
