Step 1) Find a free source of trailers that possesses the right to
redistribute them.

Step 2) Get source to write a public API.

Step 3) Write support for downloading trailers into MythTV.

Step 4) Open ticket in trac with patch.

Step 5) I apply patch.

(MythVideo doesn't support download of trailers-- there's no such
place to get them.  You need to get them off of your DVDs, Blu-rays,
etc.)
