I too use AirVideo, works great, even over 3g with my iPhone. They
even have a Linux beta available that I run on my Ubuntu system. It
transcodes on the fly and allows fastforwarding, but it needs to
rebuffer each time, which can be a bit annoying. I use it to playback
my recodings using mythlink and my mythvideos too. It supports
anything FFMpeg will play, with the only exception I have seen being
ISOs.
