   Just make sure whatever you buy has an nvidia GPU.

   More memory seems to be better. Some people have had issues with VDPAU
with less system memory. Your system memory determines how much memory the
GPU gets. 2G IONs seem to have less trouble.

   The CPU doesn't matter so much because there is such a wide gap between
being fast enough for SD and being fast enough for HD. If you can't decode
stuff on the GPU, then you're probably out of luck trying to use any Atom
to decode. (This mainly means Flash/Hulu)

    My 1G Revo has served me perfectly well. Although I also make an effort
to avoid interlaced content. Can't do stuff like Hulu, but I don't want to
sit through their commercials anways.
