[mythtv-users] Need help to setup iMON remote and VFD on Fedora 14

Hi All,

I'm trying to help my friend to set up a new machine for use as
HTPC. He has an iMON remote (with VFD) and he was happily using it
  under Windows previously.

Now we have the latest Fedora running and we installed LIRC from
rpmfusion repo. The issue is that I can't get it to work with iMON.
I tried to follow Imon page on MythTV Wiki, but still can't get LIRC
  to work.

Loading lirc_imon kernel module doesn't seem to have any effect. I
have some "imon" module loaded as well - don't know where it comes
  from though...

  Here's my setup:

  # lsusb
Bus 005 Device 002: ID 15c2:0038 SoundGraph Inc. GD01 MX VFD Display/IR Receiver
  # uname -a
Linux fedora.host 2.6.35.6-48.fc14.i686 #1 SMP Fri Oct 22 15:34:36 UTC 2010 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

I tried many things and now the situation is that lirc starts on the
machine but it doesn't process any keypress (irw shows nothing and
mode2 can't find /dev/lirc).

Nov 11 15:04:13 fedora lircd-0.8.7[2376]: caught signal
Nov 11 15:04:13 fedora lircd-0.8.7[2417]: lircd(default) ready, using /var/run/lirc/lircd

I can't also find any /dev/lirc* devices on the system. Some buttons
on the remote do work, but I have a feeling it's not LIRC making it
work...

Can someone please help me with a proper configuration?
