Yeah, eventually I'll upgrade.  I had adopted the "it's not broken, so don't
fix it" mantra and that's how I've stayed in 2008.

I've resolved the issue by just doing mass "trimming" of my recordings
collection.  After I would delete a hundred or so episodes (some set to
re-record, some not) and kept trying it.  Once I got down to about the last
fifth of my recordings database (150 shows out of 700 original) I eventually
had deleted the show(s) causing me grief.  All is finally well!

I'll upgrade to 0.24 (or wherever you are all at by now) when I get a new
frontend.  Thanks though!
