[mythtv-users] Internal Player and XVMC

Hi,

I am running a MythTV v23.1 Debian DPKG.

I have Nvidia XVMC installed which works perfectly when watching live TV or recorded shows (SD only but have slow PC so still useful).

However I have trouble playing any DVDs with the Internal player. (I'm not at my computer so can't give appropriate error messages just yet).

But if I change my settings and turn off XVMV (use ffmpeg and xv-blit) the DVDs then play fine.

I have read other similar threads but haven't come across a solution.

I was just wondering if there was a particular set of libraries etc that I should try upgrading? Or anything else worth trying before I try an external player?
