Hi,

I wouldnt say that Ubuntu give back very little. I doubt they are
profitable and they create some good programs, spend a lot of time
packaging and testing and optimising the interface.

Shuttleworth is doing what a good businessman does, which is to make
sure they are addressing the biggest proportion of the market they can
in order to become profitable.

Network transparency is a laudible aim but if shuttleworths analysis
is correct about it being compromised and a history going back over 20
years, maybe it is time to move from X.
