Thanks for that link, it does explain things a lot better. I think /. likes to alarm people, and they certainly did this 
time.

But I don't think I want Shuttleworth deciding what my "user experience" should be. Ubuntu takes a LOT, and gives back 
little to the community. They are popular because they make it possible to do some things without having to learn how they 
actually work, but that's not what I want, if it was I'd use OS/X.

Of course this mail is written on a (K)ubuntu system :-), self-defense since I get so many questions from Ubuntu users.
